Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a method of catechesis focused on helping children enter into a relationship with God. It values the dignity and immense potential of the child for learning. It is a hands-on faith formation program, focused on scripture and liturgy. Children ages 3-6 participate in Level 1, ages 6-9 in Level 2, and ages 9-12 in Level 3. Sessions meet weekly and consist of a presentation of new material, work time, and prayer. More information can be found at cgsusa.org. Registrations begin early August.
